Watch 8 Culinary Institute of America students compete in preparing Forever Oceans Kalaha in our live stream at 3 p.m. EST, Nov. 7th. They’ll be judged by celebrity chefs including Andrew Zimmern and Nick DiGiovanni in a culinary competition unlike any other. Our six celebrity judges will name a future Chef Superstar and share more than $10,000 in scholarships to four deserving finalists!
This year we are excited to have phenomenal judges at our event. Chef Andrew Zimmern, Nick DiGiovanni, Rick Moonen, Mark Allison, Brendan Walsh, and Cathy Holley are all joining us to decide on winners.
An Emmy-winning and four-time James Beard Award-winning TV personality and chef, Andrew Zimmern is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable personalities in the food world.
A chef on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram with over 10 million followers. Nick was selected to Forbes 30 under 30 and was a finalist on MasterChef Season 10.
Featured on multiple national television shows and a variety of magazines, Chef Moonen has been one of the country’s leading advocates for the sustainable seafood movement.
Brendan is the Dean of Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of America. He was named to Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America Award, James Beard Foundation.
Food expert and recipe aficionado, Cathy Holley has been publisher and editor-in-chief of Flavor & The Menu magazine since it began nearly 18 years ago.
A native of England who has worked around the world in culinary arts for over 40 years. From authoring multiple books to appearing on TV, Mark is an influential leader in the cooking industry.
